Riding Academy

English Riding Lessons for All Ability Levels

Enjoy the physical, mental and emotional benefits that come with horseback riding.

Regardless of age, we believe that anyone with the passion to learn to ride can achieve their goal with patience and practice. Our expert instructors and trainers work with every type of rider from the youngest novice to the experienced veteran and every level in between.

Since 1978, San Pascual Stables has been providing excellence in equestrian training and boarding for the South Pasadena and surrounding communities.

Riders at our barn have gone on to achieve top honors in competitions nationwide including 14-year old Sophie St.Clair and her horse, Sjapoo who were ranked #1 in California this fall (2013). Sophie and her trainer, David Sterckx, went on to the USHJA Children’s and Adult Amateur West Regional Jumper Championship in Sacramento where she took fourth place overall for the Individual Final and her team earned the Silver Medal.

Whether you wish to ride competitively or just for pleasure, there are private and group lessons to meet your needs and horses to ride to fit your skill level.
