AVA NOICE was raised in the horse country of Kalispell, Montana and have ridden at Hunter/Jumper barns since the age of 13. In my teens I was riding both Western style and English style. I had the opportunity to work on the rodeo circuit which gave me skills in breaking young horses, team penting, and barrel racing. At 15 I traveled the Canadian horse circuit with my trainer and had the opportunity to be a working student for many trainers showing in Hunter/Jumper competitions. During that time I developed skills as a braider, groom, and rider, all of which I believe are necessary skills to be a top horseman. I have been with San Pascual Stables since they began their in-house training program many years ago. I am very proud to have been a part of the building of the training program at San Pascual Stables and to work every day with the professional and competent group of trainers at our facility. My goal with my expanding client group is to set specific goals with each client and work with my clients every day to insure that their goals are achieved. My personal goal is to be the best horseman and trainer in my field, with my eyes set on the Grand Prix and beyond.

DAVID STERCKX San Pascual Stables is proud to announce the formation of a new competitive show jumping team. European Grand Prix rider and trainer David Sterckx directs the team as well as offering training to clients. He continues to compete successfully at the Grand Prix level after moving his world class horses to Southern California. David’s previous experience includes his competitive training under the direction of world renowned horseman Nelson Pessoa, serving as a member of the Junior National Team of Belgium, Belgian National Champion and former record holder in the prestigious Puissance classes, and numerous successes in the Grand Prix rings of Europe.
The team is comprised of riders of all ages competing at different skill levels and areas of interest. This year the team competed at many “A” and “AA” rated horse shows in California. The California show circuit is highly competitive and includes prestigious shows such as Los Angeles Equestrian Centers’ Memorial Day Classic, LA International Jumping Festival, LA National and National Preview shows and the Jump Del Mar International Jumping Festival in Del Mar, CA. In the coming year the team will include shows at Horseshows in the Sun (HITS) in Thermal, CA and Pebble Beach Equestrian Classics in Pebble Beach, CA . Because many of these shows offer world class Grand Prix and World Cup qualifying classes this provides valuable learning opportunities for the team. They are able to compete against very skilled riders, analyze the techniques of world class riders and to personalize the experience through the observation of their trainer’s preparation and competition.

NATHALIE KLIBANOU I have spent all of my life loving horses, most of my life riding them, and about half of my life now sharing my love of horses and riding through teaching. A great deal ofmy childhood was spent coming up with ways to stay at the barn as long as possible everyday, and I think, after all these years, I've finally been successful. I now occasionally leave the barn to sleep.
